ONE GIRL

Battered, barefoot, and huddled under a bookstore awning in the pouring rain, Blue only knows one thing. After fifteen months of captivity, finally… she is free.

TWO FRIENDS

Self-made millionaires JD and Ark are not out to save anyone when they stumble upon a wet and shivering girl one early Sunday morning. But when you sell sex for a living and salvation rings your bell… you answer the call.

THREE SOULMATES

After years of searching, love lifts the veil of darkness, and three people—with three very big secrets—find themselves bound together in a relationship that defies the odds.

Or does it?

Love. Lust. Sex.

This trinity might be perfection… but not everything should come in 3’s.

WARNING: This is a non-traditional M/F/M ROMANCE with a non-traditional ending.

Three, Two, One has to be one of the most twisted, hot and complex stories I have ever read! Huss completely outdid herself – again!

My Three, Two, One review:

When I was selected to receive an ARC of Three, Two, One I actually did a happy-dance, and when the book arrived on my kindle on Saturday morning, I twirled – with my kindle in my hands like a baby.

Twisted doesn’t even begin to describe the relationships, the storyline, the characters and the plot in this masterpiece. And a masterpiece, it is. Very dark, uncomfortable at times, extremely hot other times, and with a relationship that is anything but conventional. The suspense is well done, and the story is character-driven, even while the characters are lying both to themselves and each other.

Three, Two, One is definitely a story for mature readers, and not necessarily one for the faint of heart! Blue has been to hell and back – possibly – and Ark and JD are not exactly making her life a dance on roses, either. There are so many things going on that screwed with my head in this story, and I was amazed at how invested I became in the characters from the first chapter. I wanted to know more about them, and I needed to see what they were up to next. And they were up to many things, often those things were sexual and pushed boundaries very far in the quest for more pleasure, more love, more trust.

The suspense in Three, Two, One was almost killing me at times, I was literally holding my breath! And the writing was so addictive! Written in first person point of view, present tense, alternating between Ark and Blue, they are the characters we get to know the most about, but it’s obvious that they are holding back, and it takes the whole story unfolding before we see the whole picture. Even at the very end, there are questions that haven’t been fully answered, but the important ones were dealt with, both with finesse and poignancy. These characters are definitely not whole, but they are not broken either. Leaning on each other to gain strength and feel the love they all need, they learn to open up just enough to make sure their unconventional relationship can thrive.

If you are in the mood for a fast-paced story in which the characters are the main focus, where there is quite a lot of sex, but lots of character development and a real plot too, you need Three, Two, One in your life! It’s amazing, and needless to say, my emotions were all over the place for the duration of the story.

Some of my favorite Three, Two, One quotes:

We are polar. I am north and he is south. We are equal and opposites in almost every way imaginable. We are this and that. Black and white. Rough and calm.

She tries very hard to smile, but she can’t do it. Her chin quivers and then she’s sobbing again. I get all this on film. She’s so pathetically beautiful.

Money does that to you. Money changes you. I said it never would, but I was wrong. Something happens when you no longer have to worry about buying food and paying rent. It’s a subtle shift. Or at least it was for me.

These guys… they are pulling me towards them somehow. JD and his charm. Ark and his distance. And despite the fact that they take advantage of girls for a living, they feel very… vulnerable. It feels precarious. Like the whole thing might come crashing down at any moment. Like they are held together by some invisible thread.

There are so many quotable quotes in Three, Two, One I had to force myself to stop.
