I have a history of picking the wrong guy. Gay? Player? Momma’s boy? Check, check and check.

Now I can’t stop fantasizing about one of the customers at the coffee shop I work at between classes. It’s just a harmless crush, right? It’s not like I ever see this guy outside of the coffee shop. It’s not like I’m going to see him while attempting to get birth control at the student clinic. While wearing a paper gown. While sitting on an exam table. Because he’s the doctor. Shoot. Me.

But what if, for once, the man I’ve had the dirtiest, most scandalous fantasies about turned out to be everything but wrong?

Wrong is filled with a lot of humor, a dash of romance, and lot and lots of hot kinkiness. I love Sophie and Luke – even if their relationship was definitely wrong .

My Wrong review:

I didn’t know what to think of Wrong when I read the summary, I already knew Ms. Aston had a great sense of humor and a dirty mind, though, so I was pretty sure I would get some good laughs. And that, I did! I laughed out loud in several instances, and my 13-year-old son asked me why – and I just couldn’t answer. Some things are definitely not for young ears. Sophie was a very quirky heroine, but one I really enjoyed, and that’s really saying a lot, her being a virgin and all. She was very much over being a virgin, though, and even though she was crushing on one of the customers at the coffee shop where she worked, she was all for going all the way with her boyfriend.

Luke, the customer at the coffee shop ended up being the gynecologist at Sophie’s college clinic, and if she’d thought he was hot in a suit, she found him to be even hotter in his doctor’s shirt… And you know that is just WRONG! but it was so hilarious, I don’t think I’ll be able to put my feet into stirrups without laughing and thinking of Sophie, wearing her socks… but no underwear, all ready to get her birth control pills when Luke walked into the exam room. There are other fun situations like that, and so much tension between Luke and Sophie it was amazing they could get anything done at all when they were around each other.

The story in Wrong is pretty light-hearted, and that was awesome. I loved getting all those good laughs, and than being all hot and bothered when Luke got around to business in all his kinky glory! Between Sophie’s quirkiness, and Luke’s – at least outwardly – seriousness, I was in book-heaven. And when I finished, I was in a book coma for a while. Wrong was a great debut, and I definitely hope Ms. Aston will write more books, because she has a knack for bringing the characters to life, and for delivering a solid story that made my day.

Written mostly in first person point of view from Sophie’s perspective, and in present tense, Wrong is fast-paced, has loads of witty dialogues and is perfect if you need a pick-me-up with humor and romance in a near perfect mix.

Some of my favorite Wrong quotes:

Hi hands, I’m a little obsessed with them. Long fingers ending in short, impeccably clean nails. They just look… capable. I have a lot of fantasies involving his hands and my body.

“It’s not my fault I dated a gay guy for two years.” I tuck a strand of hair behind my ear and cross my arms around my chest. I’m a little defensive about this.

“Hello? Earth to delusional. You didn’t find it odd you were dating a twenty-year-old guy who never tried to stick his dick in you?”

Oh my God. My fantasy crush is a gynecologist. My gynecologist.
