Back to Buckhorn is an enticing, exciting and very sweet contemporary romance, where the two main characters had a secret crush on each other in high-school, but neither of them acted on it back then! However, when Zoey comes back to Buckhorn, Garrett and not his sister Amber, is the one to pick her up at the airport. Sporting the most awful look she could have imagined – a small child vomited on her just before landing – Zoey wished he wouldn’t recognize her at all – but no such luck.

Their relationship progresses rather quickly, but in the kind of story Back to Buckhorn is this is actually a good thing. They knew each other during their childhood and teenage years, and Zoey has only been away from the past six years, so nothing about it felt rushed in any way. And those who come here often know I have a soft spot for friends-to-lovers romances. There is something so sweet about it when they have known each other for a while, and were too shy to act on their feelings before.

Both Zoey and Garrett are really good characters, and they totally made Back to Buckhorn a good story, both because of their compassion and because they were both so nice in many ways. The reason why Zoey left made my heart bleeding for her! The story doesn’t span over a very long time, but the way things unfolded made a lot of sense, and I enjoyed reading each page. And of course, so far, Ms. Foster has never steered me wrong, so now, I’m adding the six first books in the Buckhorn Brothers to my kindle as well. Even for a seventh book, I had no problem following the story, nor did any of the characters confuse me because I hadn’t met them before.

Not only did she have the sexiest mouth he’d ever seen, but she also talked a lot.

Each and every time he stopped to talk with her. Each and every time her infatuation with him grew. Never mind that he was a big, sexy, hunk with an easy smile and a hero’s personality. He was… well, everything else, too.

His hand slid along her jaw so that his fingertips touched the back of her neck. “I haven’t been able to think about much other than your mouth.” “Really?” “Except for when I saw you at the lake.” He angled his body near hers. “Then I was thinking about all kinds of things – only some of them having to do with your mouth.”
