Avid reader, blogger, compulsive one-clicker, genre-omnivore.
YAY it’s Friday! Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature and Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.The Feature and Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Rachel of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to meet more new bloggers!
What sets this Hop apart from others, is that our hosts feature two blogs. Every week they will each showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow both their featured as well as our lovely hosts as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your Feature and follow post. I prefer being followed via e-mail, RSS / Bloglovin’ or Google+; but you can also like my Facebook page, or even follow me on Twitter.
So this week’s Feature and Follow is a question :
Without even meaning to, I have somehow found myself a blogger BFF. I think most of those who visit my blog knows who it is already – as Brandee of Bookworm Brandee and I chat back and forth in the comment sections of each other’s blogs every day. We carry on conversations that might not really make a lot of sense to everybody else, but it does to us! When I first found Brandee’s blog, I was amazed at how many books we had in common, and how we usually agree on what is a good or not so good book. As we got to know each other better, we realized we have a lot more things in common than the books we love. We have both been married for a looong time, we both have four children, and we both have (or I don’t exactly have mine yet, but SOON!) a BA in English literature.
So, we chat quite often now, both by blog comments, FB chat and e-mail. And I trust her reviews above all others, if she loves a book, I know I’ll love it too. And it’s a lot of fun to discuss books with her just after we both finished reading the same book, as Brandee will usually make me see a detail I hadn’t noticed before, or we will laugh at the same quirky piece of dialogue, or we’ll swoon over the same sexy book-boys.
Do you have a blogger BFF? Please share your link so I can come and check out your Feature and Follow post today.
Thanks for stopping by today, have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend.
