A surprise inheritance reunites a mixed martial arts fighter with the woman he's never forgotten in the first in a smoldering new series from New York Times bestselling author Lori Foster…

Cannon Colter is quintessential hero material: chiseled jawline, shredded body—the works. He's also the guy who rescued Yvette Sweeny from kidnappers, only to put an end to her romantic dreams. These days, she's older, smarter, determined to face whatever life throws her way. Even the prospect of sharing a house and business with Cannon.

Cannon knew Yvette wanted him three years ago. But she was young—and some things are worth waiting for. Thrown together by her grandfather's legacy, he realizes how deep Yvette's scars really go, and how much danger lurks in their quiet town. As pent-up desire explodes between them, protecting her becomes the only fight that matters. And he'll break all the rules to do it…

No Limits is fast-paced, includes a great dose of suspense, and some sweet longing.

My No Limits review:

No Limits is the start of a new series, but it features characters from Foster’s Love Undercover series as well. Both Cannon and Yvette are really great characters, and since I’m a sucker for friends-to-lovers stories their relationship really did it for me. Yvette was in love with Cannon years ago, but he always pushed her away, now that they are both back in town, and kind of forced to live together thanks to Yvette’s grandfather’s will, Yvette wants to show him she’s a woman now.

Cannon can’t believe Yvette is still affecting him as strongly as she did years before, when he pushed her away because he thought she was too young, and then had his heart broken because she left him behind. They were both part of some very traumatic events in Dash of Peril, and I really enjoyed seeing how things worked out for them after that. It seems that not everything from that mystery has been completely resolved, because Yvette has a stalker, and the lawyer’s assistant is trying too hard to seduce Cannon.

The guys Cannon knows from his MMA fighting are really great, too. They are like family, but a little more dangerous since they all know how to fight. I really look forward to getting to know some of them better, and I am hoping for a story about Cannon’s sister and Armie. Because that would be such a complicated relationship, because Cannon is so protective of his sister.

The writing is really good, in third person past tense, the narrator is omniscient, and it made me feel like I knew more than the characters at times. The dialogues are witty and hot, and Yvette is quite sneaky when she wants to be. Cannon, however can see through a lot, which is good, if not there would be no romance for either of them.

If you’re looking for a great suspense romance that makes a nice blend of the hotness and the creepiness, you should pick up No Limits and enjoy it, I know I did!

Some of my favorite No Limits quotes:

Long muscles moved with each step he took. Water glistened on his shoulders. His still-wet hair sent a trickle down the deep furrow of his spine. And that little damp towel… how she envied it. Wrapped around his hips, it hugged his butt, showcasing the tight muscles there.

Intrigued by her reaction but not overly concerned, Cannon tipped his head to study her. One way or another, he’d win her over. For the foreseeable future he’d be under the same roof with her, in close proximity. anything and everything could happen. He’d see to it.
